On June 13, 2021, 21-year-old Lykeria Briana Taylor was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. After leaving Club Euphoria with her boyfriend, their vehicle was approached near the intersection of Avenue V and Warrior Road by an unknown car, from which occupants opened fire. Taylor sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to UAB Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on June 14, 2021. Her boyfriend also suffered gunshot wounds but survived.
