William Gerry Taylor, affectionately known as "Paw Paw," was a 73-year-old resident of Alpine, Alabama. He was born on June 12, 1948, to Janie Lou Taylor and William Taylor.
On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, William Gerry Taylor was found unresponsive behind the counter of his business, Four-Way Grocery, located on Plant Road in Alpine. This incident was later determined to be a result of a shooting.
