In the winter of 2021, a violent encounter in the quiet community of Holly Pond, Alabama, resulted in the death of 74-year-old Ollie Earle Justice Jr. of Mobile. On Friday, February 12, the Cullman County Sheriff's Office was called to a residence in the area following reports of a shooting. Investigators pieced together a sequence of events that suggested a robbery gone fatally wrong.
