Death by Force

On the night of June 26, 2020, 26-year-old African American male Stephone Lamar Jemison was fatally shot in the Ensley neighborhood of Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on Avenue Z, where a verbal altercation escalated, leading to Jemison being shot inside a residence.
