On April 14, 2020, 21-year-old Tyler Olds was fatally shot at the Wolf Creek Apartments in Montevallo, Alabama. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 800 block of Shelby Street. Olds was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he was later pronounced deceased.
