On August 3, 2019, 32-year-old Brittney Lashawn Junious was shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on the 5900 block of Warner Street in the Roosevelt City area. Responding officers found Junious lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to her head and facial area. She was transported to UAB Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries the following day, August 4, at 3:25 p.m.
