Rodrick Dewayne Tolbert, age 32, tragically passed away on March 21, 2019, due to complications from gunshot wounds sustained in a previous incident. The shooting took place on June 16, 2018, at a house party located on Dawson Avenue Southwest in Birmingham’s Powderly neighborhood. During the event, an altercation escalated, resulting in Tolbert being shot. He was subsequently transported to Princeton Baptist Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
