On June 6, 2022, 37-year-old Michael Arrington was fatally shot while seated in his white van on the 1100 block of 40th Street Ensley in Birmingham, Alabama. A female passenger accompanying him sustained severe injuries and was transported to UAB Hospital with life-threatening conditions.
