On April 25, 2022, Davion Marcell Hickley, a 19-year-old male from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically shot to death in the early hours of the morning. The incident occurred in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue West, where Hickley sustained gunshot wounds during what was reported as an assault. He was later transported to Princeton Baptist Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
