On a summer evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, events were set in motion that would tragically end a man's life. Eric L. Thomas, a 40-year-old male, was on the 3700 block of W. State St. on August 9, 2010, when he was shot. The violence of that encounter left him critically injured, and he was rushed to the hospital to fight for his life.
