In the spring of 2017, the life of a vibrant and beloved White Caucasian woman, Melissa Lynn Wilkinson, was tragically cut short at the age of 33. On the evening of Sunday, April 30, 2017, in Norwalk, Connecticut, a sequence of events unfolded that would leave a community in mourning.
