William Washington

William Washington, a 54-year-old African-American man, was shot on the evening of August 23, 2011 near North 13th Street in Milwaukee. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and found him with multiple gunshot wounds; he did not survive the attack. Public death notices later recorded his passing as August 24, 2011, a day after the shooting, and funeral arrangements were handled by a local chapel with services at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church.
