Sidney Key

On a summer afternoon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 29-year-old Sidney Key, an African-American male, was irrevocably altered. On July 9, 2014, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Key was sitting on a porch near North 38th and Fairmount with another man when gunfire erupted. The sudden violence left Key with multiple gunshot wounds, critically injuring him. The 49-year-old man who was with him was also struck but sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
