Eric Walker, 27, male, of Milwaukee, was shot during an attempted home invasion at his mother’s house near the Midtown Center along Capitol Drive on December 1, 2014. The bullet and internal injuries left him paralyzed from the waist down, confined to a bed as his health steadily declined. Family remembered him as a gentle, promising athlete as they kept vigil through his long recovery and setbacks.
