On a cold December evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 38-year-old Travis Thomas, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On December 19, 2015, at approximately 7:21 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting near North 48th and West Clarke Streets. Upon their arrival, they discovered Thomas suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Despite the immediate life-saving efforts of the officers and fire personnel, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
