In the early morning hours of August 24, 2015, the life of 19-year-old African-American male Malik K. Williams was cut short by gunfire in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The fatal shooting occurred around 3:00 AM inside a residence near 22nd and Hadley on the city's north side.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but Williams was pronounced dead from his injuries inside the home. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed his identity. As police began their investigation
