On the evening of October 21, 2015, Milwaukee police responded to two separate double shootings within a 25-minute span. The second incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. near 53rd Street and Nash Street, where two men were shot. One of the victims, 29-year-old Rahdel Carson, succumbed to his injuries, while the other, a 27-year-old man, survived. Authorities indicated that this shooting was likely connected to a drug transaction.
