On a Friday afternoon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on September 22, 2017, a burst of violence cut short the life of 28-year-old African-American male James L. Jamison. The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of 40th and Locust, a neighborhood on the city's north side. When the sound of gunfire faded, two men were left wounded.
