On December 19, 2015, 42-year-old Anthony C. Herndon was found fatally shot in Richmond, Virginia. Around 1:16 AM, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of the Midlothian Inn on the 6500 block of Midlothian Turnpike. Witnesses stated that Herndon was seen running across the parking lot before collapsing near the hotel office. Despite the presence of witnesses and police efforts to gather information, the case remains unsolved, with no suspects arrested.
