A neighborhood handyman is found murdered
In the late summer of 2009, the life of a Birmingham man, known in his community as a helpful handyman, came to an abrupt and violent end. The body of Clarence Bandy, a 49-year-old male, was discovered in his residence located behind 1812 13th Way Southwest at approximately 7:30 in the morning on September 11, 2009. It was determined that he had been murdered.
