On November 23, 2015, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Gerrardo De Los Santos, aged 23, was fatally shot near his residence at 5959 Bissonnet Street in Houston, Texas. According to the Houston Police Department, De Los Santos was returning to his apartment when he was approached by unknown individuals who attempted to engage him in a physical altercation.
