Lauren Labar, age 57, was brutally killed on September 26, 2016, in her Fort Worth, Texas home. The tragic incident was committed by her 26-year-old son, Paul Robert Labar, who suffered from mental health issues. The violence unfolded after Lauren called her husband, Paul Raymond Labar, asking for help and indicating she was injured, before the call abruptly ended.
