Maria Reyna Navarro, a 32-year-old Hispanic woman and mother of three, was found dead on June 17, 1995, in Buck Sansom Park in Fort Worth, Texas. At the time of her death, she had been visiting friends in the area from her home in Corpus Christi. Her sister, Claudia Soliz-Lara, recalled that the last contact with Maria was a phone call on the morning of June 16, during which Maria said she was on her way home.
