On the evening of February 16, 2014, 56-year-old Hispanic female Sylvia Jean Salazar was tragically killed in a shooting at the North Side Outlaws Bar in Fort Worth, Texas. The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. during a fundraiser event that Sylvia attended after participating in a memorial for a woman and child who had died in a recent house fire.
