Nathan Valdez, a 21-year-old from San Antonio, was fatally shot on October 24, 2016, and died on October 30, 2016, due to injuries sustained in the incident. According to arrest affidavits, he was attacked near a bus stop on South Presa Street, where he was approached by Leonard Torres. Surveillance footage captured the confrontation, which showed a scuffle followed by a gunshot fired by Torres.
