On July 31, 2017, 27-year-old Jose Sanchez Rios was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 7000 block of Bissonnet Street. Houston Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire and found Rios with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
