In the late hours of a Monday evening in Nashville, Tennessee, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. On April 28, 2008, 19-year-old Marcus Anthony McGee, an African-American male, had just completed his shift at the Swifty Gas Station located at 3720 Dickerson Road. As he was leaving, two men confronted him at gunpoint and forced him back inside the station in what would become a fatal robbery.
