In the late spring of 2011, the life of a Knoxville, Tennessee man was tragically cut short in a burst of violence that remains unresolved to this day. Tadaryl D. 'P-Nut' Hawkins, a 34-year-old male, was found with gunshot wounds on the evening of May 23, 2011. He was discovered lying on the edge of a parking lot located at 1147 W. New Street. Emergency services responded to the scene, and Hawkins was rushed to the U.T. Medical Center for treatment.
