Tadaryl D. Hawkins, age 34, was tragically shot on May 23, 2011, in Knoxville, Tennessee. The incident occurred on West New Street, where officers responded to reports of a shooting. Hawkins was discovered lying on the edge of a parking lot with severe injuries from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries during surgery.
