On a Saturday evening, just before 7:00 pm on December 3rd, 2011, a young man named Terry Lajuan Davis was waiting at a bus stop at the intersection of Moorewood Drive and Moorewood Court in Nashville, Tennessee. At 21 years old, his life was cut short in a sudden and violent encounter. While standing at the bus stop, Mr. Davis, a Black male, was approached by two or three unidentified Black males who opened fire, fatally wounding him.
