In the heart of Detroit, a life was tragically cut short in November of 2017. Audrey Stephanie Jones, a 30-year-old African-American woman, was fatally shot on November 20, 2017. She was not the only victim of this violent act; a 24-year-old man named Sylvester Kavetski also lost his life in the incident. Audrey, born on August 12, 1987, was a mother, leaving behind a 13-year-old son.
