Jada Rankin, a 15-year-old girl, was shot and killed on October 16, 2016, outside her grandmother's house in Detroit, Michigan. The tragic incident occurred in the early morning hours as Jada was celebrating her brother's birthday with family members. A driver began recklessly speeding up and down the street, prompting Jada's brother to shout at him to slow down.
