A bright and promising life was tragically cut short on October 16, 2016, when 15-year-old Jada Rankin, a female, was fatally shot in Detroit, Michigan. The incident occurred in the early morning hours outside her grandmother's home on Ardmore Street, where family and friends had gathered to celebrate her brother's birthday.
