On March 22, 2013, Anwar Martin, a 33-year-old man, was fatally shot in Memphis, Tennessee. The shooting occurred at the Villages at Cypresswood Apartments on Horn Lake Road, located in Southwest Memphis. The incident took place early in the morning, around 1:30 a.m., and local police responded to the scene, where they found Martin deceased from gunshot wounds.
