Illya Benson, age 23, was fatally shot on May 19, 2013, in Memphis, Tennessee, in what has been described as a mass shooting at the Woodbridge Crossing Apartments, located near Ketchum Road. During the incident, gunfire erupted in a common area of the apartment complex, near the mailboxes and a basketball court, resulting in four individuals being shot.
