On March 22, 2016, 29-year-old Christopher Thompson, Jr. was fatally shot in Memphis, Tennessee. According to reports, the incident occurred during a confrontation where Thompson and an accomplice attempted to rob an individual. During the altercation, Thompson's accomplice fired a weapon, inadvertently striking and killing Thompson.
