In the early morning hours of Sunday, October 20, 2013, the life of Calvin Blakely, a 36-year-old man, was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. His body was discovered around 7 a.m. lying on the sidewalk in front of a house located at 1473 East Alcy Road. An investigation by the Memphis Police Department determined that Blakely had been fatally shot.
