In the autumn of 2013, the life of Levi Watt, a 36-year-old African-American man, was tragically cut short in Memphis, Tennessee. On the evening of November 7th, officers responded to a call regarding an aggravated assault on West McKellar Avenue. There, they discovered Mr. Watt's unresponsive body, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite the immediate launch of an investigation into his death, authorities were unable to identify any suspects in the initial stages of their inquiry.
