The incident took place in his family’s home in the Westlake District, located on the 1300 block of South Mayfair. Bryan had been shot at close range, and his body was discovered by his girlfriend after he failed to meet her as scheduled. There were no signs of forced entry, and nothing appeared to have been stolen, leading investigators to suspect that Bryan may have known his killer.
