On November 4, 1998, Midori Mizuno and her spouse Keiryo Mizuno tragically died in a fire at their Daly City apartment located on Poncetta Drive. The fire, which engulfed their multi-unit building, was determined to have been caused by arson. The couple was overwhelmed by smoke and unable to escape in time.
