Donald Cornett, aged 28, was tragically killed on October 30, 1982, in Daly City, California. Cornett was found in his trailer home on the 6900 block of Mission Street, where he had been stabbed over 30 times. The homicide appeared to be connected to a brief homosexual encounter that Cornett had with his killer over the course of one or two days before his death. It is suspected that Cornett may have picked up his attacker as a hitchhiker in Southern California.
