On the evening of May 10, 2008, the life of 18-year-old Maurice Wright was tragically cut short on a street in Pittsburgh's Hill District. At approximately 9 p.m., a burst of gunfire erupted in the 2100 block of Bentley Drive, near the Terrace Village housing complex. Wright, a male, was struck by multiple bullets and fell to the ground. The Allegheny County medical examiner's office would later confirm that he died from multiple gunshot wounds to his head and chest.
