Esteban Zavala, a 60-year-old man, was murdered on September 18, 1999, in Apple Valley, California. His body was discovered on Quarry Road near Central Road, having been dumped at the scene after being killed. Investigators believe that Zavala had connections with Gennie Gallardo and her family in Victorville, but few other details about his background or the circumstances of the crime are publicly known.
