Ronnie Bates, aged 28, was reported missing on January 17, 1997, after leaving his residence and was not seen alive again. His disappearance remained a mystery until May 21, 1998, when human remains were discovered at Bowen Ranch in Apple Valley, California. These remains were later confirmed to belong to Bates. The investigation into his death has classified the case as a homicide, but it remains unsolved, with no suspects publicly identified.
