David Flowers, a 23-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was tragically killed on August 26, 2009. Known affectionately by his family and friends as "Day-Day," David was beaten to death while he slept. On that evening, Philadelphia Police responded to the 200 block of North Simpson Street around 11:56 p.m. where they found him lying in the living/dining room area of a residence, suffering from severe head trauma.
