Hason Mason, 23, a Black male, was caught in a storm of gunfire just after 6 p.m. on October 9, 2025, at Broad Street and Packer Avenue in South Philadelphia. Responding officers found him shot multiple times in the face and body and rushed him to Jefferson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
