On January 3, 2011, 28-year-old Don Gladden was found dead in East Germantown, Philadelphia. His body was discovered in the driver's seat of a 2001 minivan, which had been parked along a quiet residential street near a recreation center on the 700 block of East Rittenhouse Street. Gladden had been shot twice in the stomach and once in the head. The minivan had reportedly been left there for some time, though neighbors had conflicting recollections about how long the vehicle had been in the area ...
