In the early morning hours of July 15, 2011, a well-known and respected barber, 34-year-old Steven Daniels Jr., was fatally shot outside an after-hours club in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood. An African American male, Daniels was known by the nickname 'Hollywood' and had a loyal clientele that followed him from his shop in Monroeville. His death left his family seeking justice and a community mourning the loss of a talented artist.
