In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in May 2012, tragedy struck in a North Philadelphia neighborhood. Malik Harvin, a 23-year-old man, was seated on a porch on the 2200 block of North Gratz Street. It was approximately 3:17 a.m. when the peace of the morning was shattered by gunfire.
