Death by Force

On April 18, 2013, 68-year-old Don Ly was brutally murdered in South Philadelphia while preparing his fruit cart for the day. Around 5 a.m., as Ly was loading his cart outside his home on the 400 block of Vollmer Street, he was attacked by an unknown assailant. The attack was vicious; Ly suffered multiple stab wounds, including a fatal slash to the throat.
