On a cold December evening in 2014, the life of 32-year-old Charles Coleman was tragically cut short in a brazen act of violence inside a Pittsburgh bar. The male victim, who was Black, was inside the New Jug bar in the Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood on the night of December 16 when a gunman entered and opened fire. The chaotic scene left another man, aged 60, wounded with a gunshot to his leg.
