Earnest Pearson, a 45-year-old Philadelphia resident, was murdered on August 3, 2015. The incident took place at an auto mechanic shop located on the 2700 block of West Cabot Street. Philadelphia Police officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Pearson suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. Unfortunately, medical personnel who were called to the scene pronounced Pearson dead shortly thereafter.
